Pizza or Breadstick Dough



Pizza or Breadstick Dough 

1 1/2 cups warm water
1 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp active dry yeast
3/4 tsp salt
3-4 1/2 cups flour, divided 

In a large bowl or bread mixing bowl with dough hook combine water, sugar, and yeast. Let it stand for 5 to 10 minutes until it’s bubbly. Add one and a half cups of flour and then the salt and mix well. Continue to add the flour half a cup at a time until the dough starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl. If mixing by hand, need the dough on the counter for 5 to 10 minutes until the dough become smooth and elastic. Cover with greased plastic wrap and let rise for 45 minutes until doubled in bulk.
